Celebrating East Boston's everyday heroes through song.
Portraits of Eastie is a musical celebration of East Boston's everyday heroes. Composers/songwriters Andrés Ballesteros and Angelina Botticelli, both Eastie residents, have written new songs about everyday heroes in our lives, and we are working with young people across Greater Boston to create their own portrait songs celebrating the everyday heroes in their lives.
We invite YOU, our community, to join our performance and to sing alongside us!
This project was made possible thanks to support from a Neighborhood Activation Grant from the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture. This event is a collaboration of J. Andrés Ballesteros Music and ZUMIX.
